The Women of Power Izetta Mitchell Scholarship is offered to honor someone who exhibits the qualities of a Woman of Power. This scholarship can be used by the recipient to increase their skills or further their education. Please read the guidelines below to determine who you can nominate to receive this scholarship.
Izetta "Zet" Denise Mitchell (1953-2003) was the sister-in-law of Pastor BJ Relefourd. Her life was centered around God and through her love for our Savior, she served her family, her church and her community. She was a strong supporter of Women of Power. We honor her and her legacy through this scholarship.

Scholarship Guidelines

1. Submit a typed 500-word essay.
2. The essay may be e-mailed by clicking the link below.
3. The essay can be mailed to: Women of Power Izetta Mitchell Scholarship, 458 Chestnut St., Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
4. The essay must have 3 components: Consistency, Originality, Vision. It must grammatically and typographically correct.
5. 2010 year deadline: Must be postmarked no later than November 15, 2010.

The essay should reflect the following:

1. To name a person whom you believe to be a Woman Of Power.
2. This woman will be someone who has influenced your life personally.
3. No celebrities unless you know them personally.
4. A Woman Of Power is someone who has imparted into your life through unselfish servanthood.
5. This will be someone one who has denied themselves to allow someone else to go forth.
6. This will be someone who has given and never expected anything in return.
